  • Abstract
    With the integration of the global economy, more and more Chinese manufacturing enterprises are expanding beyond our traditional borders, so research on the operations strategy under the background of international subcontracting is becoming increasingly important. The first part of this paper reviews the development of the operations strategy, gives a survey on lean and agile manufacturing. The second part of this paper uses GVC theory to analyze Chinese manufacturing enterprises´ international positioning, puts greater emphasis on the strategy of Chinese manufacturing enterprises´ international operations. The final part points out those Chinese manufacturing enterprises should integrate into the global value chain, and the development of high-end OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is the main choice for Chinese manufacturing industry in the future.
