  • Abstract
A case study on interaction between a landslide and nearby structures is researched in this paper. This landslide lead to displacement of the foundation of electric power pylon located at the top of the landslide and deformation of the reinforced concrete lining of highway tunnel located at the toe of the landslide; further, it will induce instability of abutment which will be built at the toe of the landslide. In the other hand, highway tunneling at the toe of the slope and electric power pylon constructing at the top of the slope are proved to be induction factor of the landslide disaster. According to the deformation behaviour of the landslide and nearby structures, back-analysis technique is used to determine mechanics parameter of the landslide soils, and then, unloading excavation and anchorage measures are carried out to stabilize this landslide. In the end, some suggestion is discussed for the similar project reference.
