Abstract
A single individual haplotype reconstruction algorithm based on a deterministic sequential Monte Carlo method is proposed. The method sequentially estimates the true haplotype including phase information while using fewer variables and particles than what is typically required by the traditional SMC methods. Simulation results demonstrate higher accuracy of the proposed technique as compared to state-of-the art single individual haplotyping methods.
