Abstract
The damage of buildings´ collapsing vibration in touching ground caused by blasting demolition is obvious with the increasing of the building´s height and volume, the complex surrounding in urban areas and the enhancement of people´s environment awareness. It is the basis and precondition to control and reduce the collapsing vibration that studying about the formation and the effect of collapsing vibration. But there is no more theoretical analysis of buildings´ collapsing vibration caused by demolition blasting before. The forming process of the collapsing vibration, the calculation method of collapsing wallop and the laws of propagation and attenuation of the collapse seismic wave were analyzed by though mechanical and mathematical methods. A calculation formula for collapsing vibration is fitted out with the dimensional analysis method. While the calculation formula was applied into a practical object, an attenuation formula for predicting the collapsing vibration velocity of some similar projects is obtained. It can estimate the danger of buildings´ collapse before blasting.
