Abstract
The creating and characteristic of the isochromatic spectrum is analyzed. The method and equipment for wave length measurement using the isochromatic spectrum is introduced, and some approaches for improving measurement precision are discussed too. Mercury lamp (lambda1 = 546.1 nm, lambda2 = 577.0 nm) is used as comparative spectral line. Wavelength of other spectral lines of mercury light, wavelength of sodium lamp and wavelength of He-Ne laser are measured.
