Abstract :
In order to evaluate the influence of wind power on the operating risk of power system and solve the problem of long time consuming which exists in the online evaluation of operation risk, probability collocation method was used to construct the functional relation between uncertain wind power and overloading risk index. The paper analyses the differences of approximation polynomials in risk calculation, which was based on different probability models of wind power as well as using different operation strategy. The test case shows that it would be faster and more accurate to calculate risk distribution with approximation polynomials than using DC power flow models, and the effect on risk index of wind power probability models and operation strategy was embedded in approximation polynomials.
