Abstract :
In this letter, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel data remodulation on downstream OFSK signals for upstream transmission in WDM-PONs. The OFSK transmitter generates constant-intensity wavelength shift keying signals based on phase modulation and polarization modulation. We successfully demonstrate the proposed WDM-PONs with 2.5 Gb/s downstream OFSK signals and 2.5 Gb/s upstream ASK signals.
