Abstract :
To increase the channel capacity of cellular mobile radio systems, the cell size is decreased to enable greater frequency reuse. Consequently, as the cell size is decreased, cochannel interference (CCI) becomes a dominant impairment in system performance rather than additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN). Thus, precise CCI models are important in the analysis of such systems. This paper presents an exact CCI model for angle modulation systems. The model is valid for digital binary and M-ary modulations as well as analogue modulations in slow Rayleigh fading
