Abstract
The value of construction products can be evaluated from the cope of user, builder and society on the base of Total Value Management. Construction products are high energy-consuming products, while energy saving is an effective approach for those products to improve their value. In order to secure the cost of the consumers and society, the “off-wall cost” of producers´ cost must be attached importance to by the designers and the builders under the frame of total life circle. Proper construction proposals or new construction measures will be able to help achieve the goal that, with equal or slightly higher production cost, construction products will achieve energy conservation and emission reduction on the social level, and the client´s utilization will be increased, all that will achieve value maximization of construction products and the increase of total value.
