Abstract
With the advances in the computer technology environment, computer based teaching (CBT) can efficiently and effectively enhance the traditional classroom learning. This research addresses the issue of designing a LabVIEW-based courseware to assist the classroom instruction in helping students learn better signal processing problem solving. The goal is to provide to the students virtual instruments that aesthetically look like real instruments but are controlled by sophisticated computer programs and methods useful in learning the principle of signal analysis via an efficient simulation output and interactive environment. The project of the simulation realizes the idea `The software is the instrument´ which not only achieves the Dynamic Demonstrating Experiment Teaching in the classroom but also can be used in the absence of hardware so that students can work with it at home.
