Abstract
Vertical radiation patterns and antenna gain of biconical multibeam antennas can be significantly improved by optimizing the shape of the bi-conical waveguide. Corrugations reduce the sidelobes in the same manner as with rectangular horn antennas. The number of horizontal beams and bandwidth are not effected by the described measures.
