Abstract :
Room temperature ferromagnetic N doped ZnMnO films were deposited on sapphire (001) by helicon wave plasma assisted radio frequency (rf) magnetron sputtering from ZnMnO ceramic target using N2 plasma. X-ray diffraction and optical absorption analyses revealed that Mn and N have been incorporated into ZnO lattice. Photoluminescence and Raman spectra shown that N doping make the Mn and N related local structure and defects become more pronounced. A hysteresis shape of magnetic field curves were observed for ZnMnO:N film at room temperature.
