Abstract
An analysis of the aperture-coupled gridded patch antenna is described by using the spectral domain Green function approach. Effects of various antenna parameters on the input impedance and resonant frequency are studied. These results are useful for antenna design applications. The theory is confirmed by comparisons with available results.
