Abstract :
Huge column´s mechanical properties determined by the bracing composition and the size of the bar. In this paper, in order to ensure the huge column´s quality and performance under seismic load, 3-d shell element is used to establish the analysis model for making full consideration of plastic components´ bearing capacity. It simulated the condition of plastic components of huge column in different floors by using different axial compression ratio. By comparing the rigidity and ductility of three most commonly used bracing form in huge column, puts forward the reasonable proposal for the huge column bracing´s choice.
