Abstract
In this paper we analyze the application of macrodiversity techniques in the predetection side of the link for CDMA systems, and specifically, for asynchronous systems with linear detection. We propose a simple combining strategy that improves the selection combining and we compare the bit error probability and the outage probability of both techniques
