Abstract
This paper presents data obtained by breakdown voltage measurements and infrared spectroscopy on polypropylene films aged under a high AC field and impregnated with benzyltoluene (BT). Different concentrations of monomers such as DGEBA, epoxystyrene (ES) and divinylbenzene (DVB) were added to the impregnant in order to clarify the stabilization behaviour of DGEBA in HV capacitors
