Abstract
Polymeric insulation systems, subjected to high electrical stresses, are susceptible to localized degradation at stress enhancements caused by contaminants within the insulation or protrusions at electrode/insulation interfaces. The degradation is referred to as electrical treeing. This paper describes further studies in which the distributions, rather than the average values, of the various shape parameters as a function of aging are used
