  • Abstract
A set of updated course contents of power electronics is published in this paper. The updated course content is arranged around the controllable switching devices and emphasizes the analysis of the converter system. Digital analysis and design method is based on simulation. The analysis of some typical power electronic installations helps students understand the application of this course in practice and grasp some practical analysis methods. The main contents include: (1) Power electronic devices (give priority to controllable devices), (2) Analysis and design of main circuits, (3) Operational principle of control circuits, (4) Digital analysis and design method based on simulation, (5) Introduction and study of power electronic installations. The updated course combines the research fruits with course contents tightly.
