Abstract :
A spectrally-based method for filtering synthetic aperture radar imagery is presented. The resulting filtered spectra are employed in a mixed-layer similarity theory to yield estimates of convective velocity scale. Results are compared to ground-truth data as well as estimates derived via a previously presented method
