Abstract :
A collapse seismic wave will generate when a slim and high building is touching the ground and demolished by blasting. It will influence or even damage deeply to the surrounding or underground constructions in the course of its propagation. The damage of the collapsing vibration is recognized with the increasing of the building´s height and volume, the complex surrounding in urban areas and the enhancement of people´s environment awareness. In order to research the collapsing vibration caused by demolition blasting and its harm to other constructions, the generation mechanism, the influence factors, the laws of its propagation and attenuation of the seismic wave were investigated by though a model experiment. In addition, the similarities and differences between the blasting vibration and the natural seismic wave were also analyzed. The results can provide an academic basis for reducing the harm of the collapsing vibration.
