Abstract
On the demand of emergency management for geographical information system(GIS), this research discusses the advantages of GIS applying in emergency management from two angles: one is the data management mode in GIS, another is the demands of emergency management for pre-warning signal. Through the analysis of function of GIS which are suitable for pre-warning signals, this research takes the comparing manifestation between the function graphics with one mine map, which includes the graphics data and attributes data, the layer stack and thematic maps displaying. Meanwhile, it combines with traditional pre-warning signals system to display the pre-warning signals output based on GIS. On the ground of the former research, this paper presents standard method of pre-warning based on GIS. The research is for the sake of providing dynamic and multidimensional technical means for emergency management system realization, and providing helpful ideas for the pre-warning system development which related with the geographical position closely.
