Abstract :
The construction of a thermal power plant is relatively little. However, the thermal power plant holds approximately 65% of world power source. Recently, the concern with the request of improvement for deterioration in the efficiency has been growing in the existing thermal power plant. Especially, it is required the efficiency for a small thermal power plant that is operated in the partial load. An inverter power source is applied to the field of various power electronics for the energy saving. When the inverter power source occurs abnormally, what is at stake is time delay in the transient response of air flow controller to the heating balance of the boiler and NOX of environment factor. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to present a new air flow control to improve of transient response in partial load for safety operation in the boiler when the inverter of forced draft fan is occurred abnormally. As a result, the combustion remained gas oxygen is back to original condition less than 1.0 second in the all case.
