Abstract :
Task-driven teaching method is based on the teaching theory of constructivism. As compared with traditional teaching method, it breaks some of the inherent modes of traditional teaching methods, which is beneficial to highlight key teaching points, make clear teaching objectives, stimulate students´ enthusiasm for learning and develop their independent ability of problem-analyzing and problem-solving. Task-driven teaching method really embodies the role of students as major participants and the leading role of teachers in the process of teaching, thus forming the characteristics of “tasks as principle objectives, teachers as the guides and students as the major participants”. This paper describes the theoretical basis, the basic teaching process, characteristics of task-driven teaching method and the design principles of task, and finally conducts a practical exploration through a teaching case.
