  • Abstract
    According to the actual project, the effects of bridge width and bridge deck pavement thickness on dynamic characteristics of hinge joint voided slab bridge are researched. Voided slab is equivalent to orthotropic plate and the slab is connected with hinge. Bridge deck pavement is simulated to isotropic plate. Then, the analytical model of spatial dynamic characteristics of simply-supported hinge joint voided slab bridge is established and the natural frequency and vibration mode of bridge are calculated by ANSYS. The results illustrate that bridge deck pavement thickness has a greater impact on fundamental frequency of the simply-supported voided slab bridge than bridge width. Impact coefficient is described as a function of fundamental frequency of bridge that does not consider the spatial effect of bridge width.
