Abstract :
A laser diode is adopted as the reference light source in the Fourier transform spectrometer. Due to the high spectral accuracy, the fluctuation of the current source that drives the laser diode should be less than 15 uA. A high precision current source for the laser diode is described in this paper. The principle is analyzed and the simulation is realized. Experiments are setup and test data are obtained. It is found that the stability of the current source is better than 10 uA.
