Knowledge collaboration is an important foundation and support for integrating emergency department, optimizing the distribution of emergency resources, sharing emergency information and improving the level of emergency decisions. Integrating the features of emergency management, the paper analyzed the motivation of knowledge collaboration in emergency management and discussed some countermeasures and suggestions of emergency management including optimizing the knowledge stock of emergency organizations, setting up an emergency knowledge collaboration network and establishing an emergency knowledge management system in collaborative style, so as to further improve the performance of emergency management in our country and to reduce the losses caused by emergencies like disasters.
