Abstract
Auctions achieved enormous popularity in the e-commerce and had a great success. M-commerce makes use of wireless networks to provide personalized and location-based services to users. This project investigates the feasibility to using mobile agents from mobile wireless handheld devices. We have developed a J-phone auction agent architecture for mobile commerce. This approach overcomes wireless network limitations, and assists users to monitor bidding status and implements bidding decision at multiple auction sites.
