  • Abstract
    Using the method of mechanical air supply can protect the escape route against smoke. The wind speed method is one of the most commonly used methods in determining the supply air volume. The average value of supply wind velocity v in the calculation parameters of wind speed method has been studied using numerical simulation method in this paper. The results show that at natural smoke venting, when the building is protected with sprinkler system, the value of v should take 0.7m/s, otherwise the value of v should take 0.9m/s.
