Abstract :
This paper endeavors to present a comprehensive summary of the causes and effects of three-phase unbalance and discusses the energy efficiency in the balance condition and the unbalance condition. To correct the unbalance problems, a new topology structure of SVC is proposed. The energy efficiency is analyzed by an actual experiment with the compensation of the new SVC. And the experimental result demonstrates that the energy loss can be saved by 20% or so after compensation. This paper makes apparent the importance of identifying potential energy save for benefit for both society and economic.
