Abstract :
In this paper, the last sample in the cyclic prefix of an OFDM block is used to develop a method for the residue carrier frequency offset estimation. The method outperforms the well-known MUSIC method for medium to low SNRs. A condition for this method to work is that the channel length is no larger than the length of the cyclic prefix.
