Abstract :
The process of big quality object impacting the bridge pier and effects of kinds of facts on collision is simulated by nonlinear finite element software LS-DYNA. The distribution of stress on collision, and the change of collision load and horizontal displacement upper end bridge pier under the change of collision quality, speed and collision position are obtained. The research results have great reference meaning for the design of bridge pier collision prevention.
