  • Abstract
In this paper different AC high-voltage auxiliary converter for railway transport power wire schemes and functioning diagrams are presented. Also here have been carried out estimations of power losses in AC high-voltage auxiliary converters according for the different power modes. Here is presented the problem of losses influence in IGBT-transistors on commutation frequency of AC high-voltage auxiliary converter. Comparative analysis of power losses in AC high-voltage auxiliary converters is executed according to different power diagrams and IGBT- transistors of different classes is carried out. So being guided by above mention factors optimum AC high-voltage auxiliary converters power diagrams have been obtained taking in consideration power semiconductors elements modern state.
