Abstract :
Partial discharge (PD) occurred on distribution line emits the electromagnetic (EM) waves which may interfere the communication environment. Visualization of EM waves using computational electromagnetics is useful for investigating multipath effects. In this paper, we simulate to visualize the EM waves emitted from three PD sources occurred simultaneously on distribution line by using the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method in three-dimension.
