Abstract :
The paper presents the theory, microfabrication and some simulations for nonNewtonian fluid flow through different types of microchannels. The microchannel types are: straight, bifurcated, stenosed and endothelial profiled. These simulations were made in order to provide an idea about blood flow through blood vessels and microchannels. Thus, blood was chosen as a model for the fluid properties used in the simulations
