  • Abstract
    In certain measurement situations, where the bounds of errors are asymmetric, the ISO Guide to Measurement Uncertainty suggests an exponential probability distribution function as a model for the uncertainty. For such applications this report provides some guidance for practitioners on how to handle and calculate the standard uncertainty and confidence limits.
