Abstract :
In this paper, system synchronization is suggested as an approach for state reconstruction and system identification. The potential of this approach is demonstrated by the development and implementation of a simple frequency estimation and tracking system incorporating synchronization. The electronic circuit realization is successfully used to estimate signal frequencies and to track FM waveforms
