Abstract :
Industrial constraints to make design choices for new performing products increase, especially when design integrated mechatronic system. It also emphasizes the need of a mean to measure the integration level of a mechatronic system to help designers to make their architecture choice. We focus our study about the use of metrics, as decision aide-making support for preliminary design of mechatronic integrated systems. So we present our approach to compare different architectures of a mechatronic system with the objectives of multi-domain and multilevel integration, applied to an integrated mechatronic system.
