Abstract
Development of educational ontologies is a step towards creation of sharable and reusable adaptive educational systems. Concept maps are graphical tools for organizing and representing knowledge, it can be used in ontology-building, and can also be used flexibly to represent and shareable idea. This paper introduces the stepwise of designing the educational ontology of Computer Networks (CN), and discusses the use of concept maps in the ontology development processes. It presented the designed ontology for teaching/learning CN at last.
