Abstract :
This paper presents a cooperation model for agent based systems, supporting preferences that gives rise to preferential conflicts, which have to resolved to find the best possible solution. The paper shows how such conflicts can be resolved in some cases and how the best possible compromise (in terms of preferences) can be achieved without getting into deadlocks
