Abstract :
The increasing complexity and dynamism of construction projects have imposed substantial uncertainties and subjectivities in the risk analysis process. Most of the risk analysis problems contain a mixture of quantitative and qualitative data; therefore, quantitative risk assessment techniques are inadequate for assessing risks. This research proposes a method to assess risks using a flexible and rational approach that could accommodate experts´ subjective judgment based on fuzzy expert system. In this research, the proposed method involves expert group formation and development of risk assessment model.
