Abstract :
We propose a system to utilize information received via e-mail. The proposed system works as an e-mail client, organizes pieces of information in e-mail messages and assists the users to find information which they look for. To categorize and explore relationships among pieces of information, the system utilizes meta-information attached in the form of an XML document. In addition, a new message model, "paragraph-unit model", is applied to the system in order to organize information efficiently. This model enables more flexible organizing than traditional message-unit-based processing.
