Abstract :
In this paper, a novel design of data driver for passive matrix organic light-emitting diode (PM-OLED) displays is presented. The proposed circuit adopts a new structure composed of current copiers. With the technique of sample & hold, the uniformity of the driving current can be greatly improved. The simulation results show that the nonuniformity of the output current is reduced from 5% of the conventional circuit to less than 1%.
