Education technology and computer sustaining professional Learning communities establishment in United Arab Emirates

Professional Learning communities (PLCs) represent a fashionable topic for at least three decades now on the international education arena. This paper investigates this topic that has widely been considered on the international level, however it remained absent from the educational scene in the Arab region till now. Establishing learning communities relies heavily on education technology and availability of computers in the educational organizations. United Arab Emirates has got some trials - however immature - to practice establishing learning communities in some of its education organizations and this again is subject to the existence of education technology and computers in those organizations. In spite of this, United Arab Emirates and all Arab countries are invited through this paper to get acquainted with the features, vitality, and returns of establishing learning communities in their schools and universities.
