Abstract
Wenchuan earthquake is the most serious natural disaster in Chinese history. In this emergency the important thing is to take effective measures to avoid casualties. To bring proper measures into effect, we must set down the searching strategy rapidly according to different situation, which the focus is to arrange the rescue pattern and to select the accurate searching route. Here we present a simple earthquake searching model and carry out preliminary study on this model. The focus is to minimize the maximal searching time of all searchers, which can be looked upon as an optimal problem. Here we present a bulldozer model to arrange the route for each member and obtain an efficient result.
