  • Abstract
Flood is a disaster where an area is unable to hold more water. It caused by soil´s low absorption and hard rain. Flood can be predicted if information of short term rain intensity could known immediately. The result of development research about rain gauge that easily and promptly read using Bluetooth and modem RF-FSK will be discussed in this paper. Rain gauge´s products which are manual, semi-automatic or employ logger data that still unable to measure rainfall precisely will also reviewed in this paper. By the result of equipment testing, It can be concluded that the rain gauge can work properly and able to be read quickly. The difference between the result of device measurement and manual calculation are ranged from 0,24 mm to 0,03 mm. It appeared by the division of total water volume that toward the tube with bucket volume is counted not as integer that leave remain water stay uncounted since it classified as unfull bucket.
