  • Abstract
    Since 1996 DLR´s experimental E-SAR system is extended in X-band by a single-pass across- and along-track interferometer for topographic mapping and line of sight velocity measurements, respectively. This article gives an overview of the capabilities and limits of the interferometric E-SAR system. Progress is reported for the consideration of strong topographic variations in across-track interferometry. For the along-track system first results are presented
