Abstract :
Floods will cause serious failure of village house. Response of floods pressure and strain of village house and its wall is the basis of elimination floods endangering. Through setting up the physical model for village house, the laws of floods pressure and strain are studied at different hydraulic conditions. Then the influence of different house structure and foundation to floods are analyzed. Floods induced failure mechanism of village house are primarily discussed.
