Abstract
The use of common corridors for several overhead transmission lines is widespread nowadays. The drawback of this solution is the intensification of electromagnetic interferences between power circuits of transmission lines in common corridors. Power circuit interactions can cause significant voltage disturbances in electrical networks with transmission lines sharing right of ways (ROWs) with power lines of other networks. In the paper is shown that power quality requirements can be violated due to the electromagnetic influence of nearby overhead transmission lines. Mechanism of the interaction and some practical results of computer simulations are discussed in the paper.
