  • Abstract
Twin-perforated plate connectors is a new type of connector used in steel-concrete composite beams. Based on monotonic push-out tests of twin-perforated plate connectors, failure modes, failure mechanism, load-slip rule and the limited shear strength of twin-perforated plate connectors had been gained. The effect upon the bearing capacity at the use stages, ultimate bearing capacity and sliding from the number of hole and the perforated reinforced bar was studied, and the different reasons of shear capacity of single-hole between the measured strength and calculated values according to the regressive formula were analyzed. The results showed twin-perforated plate connectors with the perforated reinforced bars had good performance, and the shear strength increased by 50% and sliding decreased by 80% than plate connectors without perforated reinforced bars.
