Abstract
This study proposes an algorithm to extract 3D geometric attributes of textile wrinkle from a photograph. The fundamental data may be derived from its boundary analysis for the purpose of representing its geometric shape. The simulated wrinkle may be improved and enhanced until the final performance meets userpsilas demand by an improved genetic algorithm and a proper and efficient human interference. Integrating coding techniques and the wrinklepsilas boundary in actual iteration algorithm, its boundary shape are possibly determined by comparing its physical shape and that in the initial image observed by users. Experimental results show that the simulation can meet userpsilas needs within the finite iteration steps.
